Welcome to Bubbenhall

Bubbenhall is an English civil parish within the district of Warwick and the county of Warwickshire

Bubbenhall is a small to medium sized village (population 655 in the 2011 census) in the district of Warwick in the county of Warwickshire. It is approximately 5 miles south-east of Coventry and 5 miles north-north-east of Royal Leamington Spa and lies just off the main A445 from Leamington Spa to Rugby Bubbenhall has a long history and a good number of historic buildings remain. The village is not just a barren dormitory for the city of Coventry and other larger places - there are several businesses based here, including two public houses and a gardening contractor. You will see in the history page that in the past there were butchers, a smithy and shoemakers in the village - now sadly gone. The Parish Church of St Giles is mainly 13th and 14th centuries but the chapel was established some time before 1153. There are six bells in the medieval clock tower and in the church you can find two "green men", dating from the 13th century, a Norman font, and stained glass by Kempe. For more information, timetables etc visit our Church Page. The village hall is well booked for clubs and activities, the recreation ground has play equipment, a football pitch and tennis and basketball courts. The mobile library from Warwickshire County Council comes every three weeks. More details can be found under libraries.
