Objecting to a Planning Application
Residents of Bubbenhall have the right to comment on planning applications affecting the parish. All comments, including objections, must be submitted to Warwick District Council, which is the Local Planning Authority (LPA).
How to Object
1. Find the Application
You can view planning applications online using the Warwick District Council planning portal:

2. Submit Your Comments
You can object in the following ways:

- Your name and address
- The application reference number
- Clear reasons for your objection (based on planning grounds)
3. Comment Deadline
- You normally have 21 days from the date of notification to comment
- Comments submitted after this period may not be taken into account
4. What Happens Next?
- A planning officer at Warwick District Council will assess the application
- All comments are considered and may be summarised in a report
- Bubbenhall Parish Council will also review applications and submit its own response
Valid Planning Reasons to Object
Your objection must relate to material planning considerations, such as:
Impact on Residential Amenity
- Loss of privacy or overlooking
- Loss of light or overshadowing
- Noise, disturbance, or overlooking
Design and Appearance
- Poor design or inappropriate scale
- Not in keeping with the character of Bubbenhall
Traffic and Highway Safety
- Increased traffic or congestion
- Unsafe access or road layout
- Inadequate parking
Environmental Issues
- Flood risk or drainage concerns
- Loss of trees, hedgerows, or wildlife habitat

Reasons That Cannot Be Considered
The planning system does not take into account:
